1. Who we are
NiNi is operated by Jaepark Rhee, an individual seller trading as NiNi. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: support@nini.study.
2. What we collect and why
- Account data (name, email address, login credentials, sign-in provider) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Research content (topics, prompts, uploaded material, generated maps and drafts) — to provide the Service and store your work. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
- Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: contract and our legitimate interest in supporting customers.
- Usage and telemetry data (pages viewed, feature usage, error logs, device identifiers, IP address) — for security, fraud prevention, debugging and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Marketing preferences — only where you have opted in. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We may also process data where we are required to by law, for example for tax or accounting obligations.
3. Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, email and AI model providers who process data on our instructions to run the Service.
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our products, subscription management, payments, invoicing, fraud checks and tax compliance.
- Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where needed.
- Authorities — where required by law or to protect legal rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
We keep account and research content for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account we remove or anonymise personal data within 90 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax or dispute-resolution purposes.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent. Email support@nini.study and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level authorisation on stored data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires it.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar local storage to keep you signed in and to secure the Service; these cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in. Where we use analytics cookies to understand product usage, you can manage them through your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
9. Changes
We may update this notice; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
